These are two views of the re-creation of the Tomb of the Virgin Mary; the original tomb is located in the Kidron Valley, at the foot of the Mount of Olives. The picture on the right is a view through cedar trees, which are quite common in Israel.

This is a recumbent statue of the dead Virgin Mary prior to her being brought up into heaven within three days of her death.
