These are two complementary views of a re-creation of the Grotto of Lourdes in southern France near the Pyrenees. The image on the left shows the grotto itself with a statue of the Virgin Mary standing in a niche above, and the image on the right shows an image of Saint Bernadette Soubirous kneeling before the Virgin Mary, whom she saw at the grotto in 1858. The statue of the Virgin Mary is similar to the statue in France, and this Mary is known as "Our Lady of Lourdes."
