Would you like to spend the night in a real log cabin. One of the cabins of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club (PATC) is located right on Catoctin Hollow Road, so there is no need to hike to it. There is private parking, and there are woods and a creek immediately behind it. Enjoy the pleasure of sleeping in a real log cabin, complete with nearby outhouse. The cabin is located on private property, so no trespassing, but you can rent it from PATC.
